This page has information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme, also known as the NDIS, is a new funding and support system for people living with disability.
It aims to give people flexible support that suits their needs and goals.
The NDIS is not yet available to everyone, everywhere in Australia.
Contacting the NDIS
The NDIS Contact Centre is now operating 8 am to 11 pm local times, Monday to Friday.
The number to call is 1800 800 110
For calls received outside the operating times, a recording will advise the caller of the Contact Centre operating hours. As this is not an answering machine service, callers will need to phone the NDIS 1800 number during the operating hours of 8am -11pm Monday to Friday.
