Deafblind West Australians is a peer-run organisation that exists to support people who are Deafblind or living with vision and/or hearing loss. We work alongside individuals, families, carers, communities and organisations to create a more accessible and inclusive future. We host fortnightly Connect Hub groups at The Rise in Maylands, that are free to attend with Auslan interpreters provided.

The Peer Connect website was created on Kaurna Country. We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide Plains and pay our respects to Elders past and present. The peer groups and networks on this site extend across many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nations and language groups throughout Australia, and we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of those Countries and their continuing connection to land, waters and community.
This site exists for people with disability to connect, learn and thrive. No matter your background, identity or lived experience, you belong here. Welcome.
