Peer led self advocacy groups Our Voice, Express Yourself and SACID had plenty to say, last week, about the development of a new website for people living with intellectual disability.

Facilitators Sue and Sally from the Self Advocacy Resource Unit led a lively discussion about what would be good to have on a National self-advocacy website.

Members of Our Voice and Express Yourself  put their thoughts on film about why self-advocacy was important to them.

They also gave ideas about how the website will look, what useful things would be on the website and how to make it user friendly.
